How to Place Multiple Groups and Rotate at the same time

Hi all,

I thought I would start this thread off the back of another thread as it includes further functionality not specified in the original questions until after the questions were answered.

The aim was to place groups by coordinate, then place multiple groups by coordinates and, after a lengthy and abstract discussion, to do that with a rotation built-in to the node.

The script below does exactly this…

PlaceGroup.dyn (16.0 KB)

@RLietz this should answer all your questions in the posts below…:grinning:

Cheers,
Dan

Buy Shuster you’ve got it, I love it ! Flame and fury. Red Capes, not blue. Now we have the music fit for a symphony, fit for the opening night of Carnegie Hall by the great Russian Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky https://youtu.be/VbxgYlcNxE8?list=RD7_WWz2DSnT8&t=690 can you imagine it.

How fitting a solution on Armistice Day, also known as Remembrance Day, time to pause and reflect on those who sacrificed so much in a war to end all wars !

Vote 1 Dan for president of the Justice League of Carpet Snake Coders.

Here is a slight variation ; RotateGroup.dyn (24.6 KB)

Rotate_Group.rvt (1.8 MB)
