About the “touching the right ceiling surface”. Can you take a screenshot at that position?

@ANJ As I understand it, the Elements in Room node checks the point of a family to see if it is located within the room. Therefore, in your case, I think the reason for the incorrect result might be that the point in your family is outside the desired room, or the room does not encompass that point. Try visualizing it to see if that’s the cause.
Another thing is that if your family is always attached to the slab/ceiling as shown in the image, try moving it down along the Z direction by a small distance (as Mr. Sovitek suggested). I think that will help you get more accurate results.
