Hoping to get some advice on this. I’m working on a project where the facade and base model ( internal wall, ceiling, floor etc ) is seperated. The team uses room seperation lines to be able to tag rooms and what not, but I have a bad feeling room seperation lines will be troublesome in the future to demarcate enclosures.
Would it be more beneficial to draw a fake wall around the Base model in order to tag rooms ( assuming facade outline doesnt change ) , or is room seperation line the best solution in this scenario ?
I could have told you that you should check your lacing or the list level…
but this is a dynamo forum, your question is more likely a best practice in revit but I will contribute anyway. No. don’t create a fake wall, room separation is enough, once the facade is loaded you will only see an overlapping element, having said that…
