Rhino to Revit (Mesh elements), impossible?

Hi,

I’m trying to comvert a 3DM file into revit but I only get issues. My goal is to have elements in Revit (family or in place) where I can have cut view or things like that.
With meshes:
-with Rhynamo: Mesh Object has no Attributes Scale, samething with DirectShape.

With Brep
-Rhynamo crashed

I tryied to save my Rhino in SAT and Revit can’t open it.

Do you an idea how to do? I’m stuck since 3hours on that topic…
My files are here: http://e.pc.cd/dAeotalK

Thanks!

Which Revit build are you in? I don’t believe that Rhynamo will be updating to 2022, but it may have issues prior to that as well. You may want to try Rhino inside instead, but I am not sure how time consuming that would be.

Also, make sure your Rhino geometry is clean. Think deals with bad geometry in ways which makes it usable there, same as Revit, but when you switch platforms the geometry issues are brought to the forefront.

If you have the time to experiment Rhino Inside is definitely the way to go. If you don’t there are heaps of apps on the market that do this at a reasonable price like Beam or Conveyor.
