Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and I am very new to the Dynamo software as of now. I am having a doubt regarding the connection of fire sprinkler pipes to the main header branch of pipes through dynamo automation as the building contains a large number of it. Currently I am doing manually by using the trim and extend command for all of that.
I have attached some pictures below of what I want. The blue circles are the part where I am trying to work. I have also added the fitting family in the routing preference, and it does not contain the cross weld, it’s all weldolet.
Looks like its a X you will insert…it isnt so easy as it sounds IMO 
guess in your case you will first need split the main pipe with get.location and closest.point to…and use genius loci split.element, so we have 4 pipes in every split…then i would try openmep insert X fitting by mep curves…show us what you have tried so far
