The current paneling nodes in Dynamo are inadequate.
Lunchbox nodes do provide some additional capabilities, but i think basic paneling nodes should be provided in the ordinary installation of Dynamo by the team.
Currently in Revit, we have a few patterns of divided surface to choose from. (rhomboid, 1/2 step, 1/3 step etc…) We can also customize how the surface is divided using reference planes. If the curtain panel by pattern family is modeled correctly, it can even adopt the normal of the surface, and “extrude” seamlessly.
It is my wish that such paneling nodes will be provided in the ordinary installation of Dynamo in future.
