Non-attendance padlock in 2D view

Hello Everyone,

I have an interrogation on 2D view : when i use fonction Align (for 2 lines example), the padlock do not appear.

Is there a selection in the setting for Activity / Disabled the padlock?

Can you post a screen capture of how you are wanting to use the align function? What have you tried thus far?

I just use the align fonction like usually between two lign and when i check to use the padlock, it was not disponible.

Also, concerning the version, we use Revit 2017.2.

It is possible, as shown here for faces.

Revut.DB.References can be extracted from existing elements but some conversion may be required to get a workflow that suits your needs. Can you be more specific on what you are aligning? I recommend having a go and posting back with you efforts if you encounter roadblocks :grinning:

I didn’t not espect use RevitAPI for this little subject !
If the padlock was mask, the are a command in the first interface to activate/desactivate ?

It looks like a Revit issue, not a Dynamo one. Apparently someone had the same problem solved here:

That’s right !

the padlock acts as a separate object hidden in a workset.
