Multiplie Text Parameters filtering into One Text Parameter

Hello all!

I have a family with 4 connectors, each with its own text parameter. I am trying to get a panel schedule to pick it any of the 4 parameters. I created a single parameter and attempted to dynamo all four parameters into it. My idea was for the parameter to pick up which of the connectors was being used and place that ID number on the panel schedule. I’m stuck in this last phase and not really sure how to get all 4 to combine.

You would have to script that then. You can’t get Dynamo to guess at which parameter it’s supposed to use.

Do the connectors only have values if they’re in use or do they all have values and you only want the one that is physically connected to another element? How would you determine those things? These are the questions you need to be asking.
