Issues with Revit Structural Framing on custom Dynamo Surface Grid

Hey guys, There seems to be a persistent issue with the lunchbox nodes and revit’s structural framing family types.
when assigned, the structural members do not seem to fully join, this is because (i think) the structure itself is too complex, so i am wondering if the reason is the previously stated one or if it is more of a problem with the framing types themselves?
would i need to solve this through revit or dynamo?

Here are some screenshots:

This is not a dynamo problem, but a revit one. Your grid is too dense for such a big profile.

Hey thanks for the input,

So essentially if I were to reduce grid density and replace the beam profile for say a smaller round pipe profile, would these changes allow a more seamless structure without gaps between the members?

It will help. Alternatively, you can edit the beam family and detach the geometry from the cutback planes. That way the beam profile will run from start point to end point.

@Dimitar_Venkov

Ah yes, this makes sense. I will try this right away! I appreciate all your help!
