Installation Not Recognizing?

Hello Team Dynamo,

I was wondering if there is any specific requirements that may be preventing these machines from recognizing Revit installed on them. It is weird because Revit 2017 to 2019 actually work fully on the machines but Dynamo doesnt recognize them. Any ideas?

Try in the following order, one of them should help

  • restart pc
  • repair the revit installation via the remove/modify dialog from programs and features
  • reinstall the revit installation via the remove/modify dialog from programs and features
  • Uninstall all revit programs with the uninstall tool, and reinstall them. You will find the uninstall tool here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Uninstall Tool\R1\UninstallTool.exe

afaik dynamo reads if revit is installed from the registry, somehow the required registry keys are missing from these pcs.
