Help me pls!

I’m using the Genius Loci package to create new wall types based on a list of predefined names and thicknesses. It worked, but when creating a new wall, it uses the thickness of the sample wall (opening the “ElementOrFamilyType” field) as the thickness for all created walls. Please help me fix this. Thank you everyone.

Why is there such a difference? It doesn’t use the list thickness I entered, but copies the thickness of the Element input (W1_1F_200).

Something must have gone wrong upstream for you.
Bit hard to tell where without the preview bubbles pinned.

Sometimes it helps if you just flatten your inputs.
Can save you the trouble of levels and lacing.

04.WallsFromExcel - Copy.dyn (65.7 KB)

can y check my file dynamo?

I did everything you suggested, but the result was still wrong.

I would also help if you would supply the .xls.
Doesn’t have to be all the data. Just 5 or 10 lines or so.

Sorry, I forgot about this file.

Pretty sure this is the issue.

Pretty sure this is the issue.

There are better ways of doing this i guess, but it works.
You probably have to alter my example a bit.

It worked. The error was with the Material. Thank you for your help.
