How to select all elements from a category at each level?

Glad it worked for you Im using Dynamo Version 1.0 in Revit 2015, dont know if that is the cause for you.

Get all elements of a revit category from a selection

Hello everybody, I am very new in Dynamo, and i am sure that my problem has an easy solution, but I did not find it yet… I get a multiple selection and a list with all elements. I would like to maintain all elements of a category (Air Terminals) in this list and discard the rest of categories (filter elements in a selection). Is it possible? Many tanks in advance!

Count the number of times all Family's have been placed

Hello all, Do any of you have or know of a better way to count how many instances there are of all the project families? I am trying to figure out what our most used families are. I can get all of the placed elements but this takes forever and is not really needed. If you look at the graph below All Elements of Type and Family types of family take less than a second to cull there data but All elements of Family Type took about 10 minutes. I don’t actually need the Elements just want to know how…

All Instances from Element Type

Hello all, I am missing something really simple here but for the life of me I cannot figure it out. I am trying to select all Text Instances of a Particular type. I know I can run All elements of type with TextNote rather than TextNoteType or all Elements of Category but that takes a long time to collect all the text notes. Hello all, I am working with the Elements, Element Types and Families. I was wondering if someone could help clear up how things are selected in dynamo and make sure I have the Revit Hierarchy correct. (Image copied form the Primer.
