Was wondering if anyone has had an issue with Dynamo Player not showing the scripts from a folder located on the local C drive, but can see the scripts from a folder located on their local server? Have a user with that problem. Issue started after the user changed to a different computer. Our support department has looked into permissions settings and the user should have access to all folders on his C drive.
Thank you!
What is the path to the folder?
We have tried C:\Dynamo Scripts and tried creating a Dynamo Scripts subfolder under his temp folder. Both of these pathing methods are being used by others, so just confused as to why it doesn’t work for this one user.
Does the user have full permissions to those locations? Infosec configuration seems a likely source with that location.
I was told by our IT department that they matched all network permissions from before to his current computer and they even gave him admin rights to this computer, which he didn’t have on his previous computer, and it still didn’t fix the issue.
Thanks for responding BTW!
Well, nevermind. Turns out the user had copied our custom definitions to his local drive instead of the script files. Wished I had noticed that before posting and wasting your time Jacob. Thanks for responding and trying to help!
