I am trying to write Dynamo scripts to define MEP parameters based on other parameters. For example, I want to set the “Apparent Load” of all Mechanical Equipment in a project to be defined by Voltagesqrt PhaseFLA. I can do this individually, but not globally.
I’d also like to define the airflow values in all spaces so that Actual Return Airflow = Actual Supply Airflow-Actual Exhaust Airflow. This one I’m having a lot of trouble with. It appears that Dynamo is focused on driving parameters based on placement/geometry rather than data, and there doesn’t appear to be any way to use elements within a space to define the parameters of that space.
I’ve only dipped my toes into the Dynamo ocean thus far so I’m sure I’m just missing something.
