Difference between "Curve.PlaneAtParamter" and "Plane.ByOriginNormalXAxis

Hi everyone,
“I want to generate my geometry by lofting fusion. So I’m here to do the transformation of my coordinate axis, allowing my profile to be placed along the local coordinate on the axis line. I used two methods here, and the generated plane should be the same, why is there a slight deviation?”

Can’t see what you used as there is no indication of such. Expand all relevant data previews, zoom tight on a node or two, and use the export the canvas as an image command (top right) to post what you have tried.

sorry I forgot to upload the screenshot.

Well it’s hard to say without having the consistent geometry, but… The plane along the parameter isn’t necessarily Z axis aligned - in fact along every possible curve in existence it’s an outlier when it is. And so by forcing the Z axis you’re getting differing results.

Try using the normal vector at the parameter and you’ll likely get things more aligned.

“The plane along the parameter isn’t necessarily Z axis aligned” is absulutely correct. I unterstand now. Thank you very much.
