i was able to create sheets in revit using excel and dynamo. but i want the sheet name to take format from my custom made sheet name parameter.
how to do that?
Hello @kevinajiLFMQE and welcome…could your show an image how far you are then its just easier to get help
hai, thanks for response
Sheets and Views - Copy.dyn (363.1 KB)
i was able to get sheet names but i want it to be in multilines
example:
LEVEL 02
CHILLED WATER LAYOUT
PART A
the dynamo script takes sheet name from its default sheet name parameter which cant be edited to multi line.
I’d suggest using separate parameters to create the sheet name ‘fields’ and then join them using automation to form the combined sheet name. Then you only see the three lines on the titleblock, and not the Revit sheet name. The sheet name parameter is locked to single line as far as I am aware.
Yeps Gavin iwould do the same
could you please show demo for better understanding?
I’m feeling generous, hope everyone enjoys this one…
Feel free to mark as solution if it works for you as an example
Sample model.rvt (1.3 MB)
shared parameters.txt (898 Bytes)
Sheet data.xlsx (9.2 KB)
thank you
could you add up the script for multiple lines within my dynamo script file?
