I am a beginner at Dynamo and I have tried following three tutorials but each time I put a value/ select elements, they all come up as null and therefore I am not able to run the script. Is there a settings I need to change etc ? Below is one example

Just to confirm, since you have the graph set to Manual mode, you are clicking the Run button?
yes but it still won’t work, unfortunately
When you run it, does it say Run completed?
I don’t have 2025 installed, so unfortunately I can’t do any testing, but I can’t think of any other reason why it’s not working.

Oh! My best guess would be an issue caused during the installation or Revit or there is a Revit addin loaded that is conflicting with Dynamo.
possibly, but the only addin that I have is Twinmotion

Does the ‘normal’ (OOTB) node work?
There should be a + node.
