I am a relative new to Dynamo and I am having trouble opening a file I only started late yesterday afternoon. It’s not the end of the world if I can’t recover it but I would like to know what causes this and how to go about fixing it in case it happens to something I have put a lot more work into.
I am running the latest version of Revit 2023 and associated version of Dynamo. The scrip reads data from an Excel file for a chimney stack that tapers and reduces in thickness with height and regenerates it in Revit using wall elements with thicknesses retrieved from the Excel file.
The script uses the 'Create Compound System FamilyType node from the GeniusLoci package and I had one code block that I had started by not finished and was in error mode when I closed the script to jump onto something else so I suspect it is one of these two items that is causing this problem.
Attached screenshot shows the error notification from attempts to open the script and the script file itself.
