Looking to create a command that can drive the background parameter for all text related system families. Am i on right track?

Note that the text background parameter for dimensions varies slightly - it is called “Text Background”. That might create some difficulties applying the new value. You might need to change the values of those items separately. Try feeding a value of 1 for the transparency option.
You might get some errors for dimension types because a lot of revit elements are defined under that category.
Thank You Dimitar! I am slowly grasping how these strings are put together. This method worked really well. It is too bad they changed the Type Parameter name in dimensions vs text notes, because it would have been nice to put everything in one script.
