Springs.Form.ByGeometry - surface patterns not showing

Hi guys,

I’ve been investigating methods of getting Rhino Geometry into Revit using the Rhynamo package and then finally using Springs.Form.ByGeometry node to make it into Revit geometry> assigning materials > assigning sub categories so I can control its representation in Revit.

So far so good…

However one super frustrating side effect I’ve noticed is that the surface “Normals” seem flipped so I can’t get the surface patterns to show up on the model. I’ve tried a bunch of things but haven’t had much luck.

Oddly enough though I can override the surface pattern for the entire family in view once I’ve loaded into the Revit project (which is not useful as I have different materials and different surface patterns etc)

Below is the snapshot of the generic family with the translated rhino geometry along side an extrusion with the same material applied showing the hatch. On a side note all Rhino geometry have been modeled as closed polysurfaces so solids. Any advice would be appreciated!

@Dimitar_Venkov any suggestions?

Thanks guys!
