Springs.DirectShape Shows in Family but not project once loaded

Hello all,

I have created a stair using dynamo and two curves in Revit. At the end of the script (image 1) I Solid.ByUnion all of the geometry together into one solid. I then used Springs.DirectShape.ByGeometry to create a Direct Shape in a generic model family. I then loaded the family into a brand new project and only the two lines I drew in the Revit family show up not the Direct Shape (image 2).

Does anyone know why a Direct Shape will show in a family but not in a project once loaded?
