Short-cut to properties

Hi I am creating a script where from the categories I selected, I will be able to change the Color, Transparency and the fill. It is working fine with Dynamo but I when I tried it on the player, the fill pattern and transparency wouln’t work. Does anyone know what went wrong?

could you post the script and the run result before and after? just with your description alone, we are not able to visualize and decipher anything from it

This is what I came up to. . .

and the second picture here is the result, as you can see even though I’ve set the transparency to zero. There still seems to be some transparency on the model.
