Selected spaces are "Revit.Elements.UnkownElement" instead of "Revit.Elements.Space"

I’m having a hard time trying to “correctly” select the spaces in my revit file.
I noticed that if I create a space directly from dynamo and run a few nodes on it everything is fine, but if I select the same space (same ID) with different methods I start getting problems…
I guess it has to do something with a space not being a “normal” element?
Does anyone know what is happening?

EDIT: The Space.ByPoint, Grid and GetIdentificationData nodes are from DynamoMEP

By the way “vano” is a (bad) translation of “space” in italian (sometimes it also appears as “spazio” (a better translation) in the revit UI, but I doubt this is the source of my problem)

Thanks, i never thought I should have used Space.FromElement on a Space itself!
