SAT to solid

Hi!

I want to import a geometry (SAT file) to Dynamo so i can subtract it to a major solid. To do that I need to convert the .SAT geometry to a solid. Is it possible?

Hi Marques,

If you are going from Rhino, I suggest downloading a package called Rhynamo

Alternatively, I haven’t tried it myself, but there is a node called “Geometry.ImportFromSAT” found in Dynamo.

Hello Marques,

Look at the image below for Importing SAT file to Dynamo and use those Soilds/Surface for further manipulation.

If you want to Import that ST file directly to Revit then use “ImportInstance.BySATFile”
