I see all the new extension being added and want to install them but I’m gun shy. I just now have seemed to get things running with 2017 through 2020. I don’t need the extensions if its costs me unseen headaches.

The new stuff will roll out automatically as you update Revit from 2020 on. Once you’ve got the updated Revit you will get the updated Dynamo and can leverage the related view extensions. Generally it’s best not to try and force the new stuff into the old versions though (ie: attempt to add Dynamo 2.5 to Revit 2019), as it’s easy to break stuff.
