DynamoRevit 2.1 in Revit 2017-2019

I have started creating Revit 2020 deployments for my company and understand that DynamoRevit 2.1 comes pre-installed. My question is how do I get it loaded into our older Revit versions (2017, 2018 & 2019).

DynamoCore 2.1 is available for download, but it does not integrate directly into Revit, as it is a standalone (Sandbox) version. Also, I found some unstable builds available (DynamoRevit 2.1.0.6567), but do not want to install those for obvious reasons.

If someone could please direct me as to what can be done to get Revit 2.1 into these older versions I would appreciate it. Or, if you have any news that may shed light on this please let me know.

Thank you,
Tyler

To followup on my first comment. I also know I can have 2.0.3 installed in Revit 2017, 2018 & 2019 while simultaneously having 2.1 installed with Revit 2020. With 2.0.3 however there were several “bugs” that I see are ironed out with 2.1, so my hope is to run 2.1 on Revit 2017-2020 & then to scrap Dynamo 1.x for Revit 2016 altogether.

You cannot install 2.1.0 into 2019, 2018, or 2017 at this time.

2.0.3 is a prerelease, so it may be changed between now and when it is officially launched, meaning that bigs resolved in 2.1 could be fixed to 2.0.3 as well.

My mistake…I didn’t mean 2.0.3, I meant 2.0.2. I do however see that prerelease build for 2.0.3.x & just downloaded it - I will give it a shot & see how it seems.

Do you have a link you could provide for the notes on prereleased builds? I looked on Github, but did not see any mention of 2.0.3.x.

I do not have any such release notes.
