Okay,

sorry for the distraction. It seems standard dynamo is capable of that now with the node “views”.
Was stuck on finding “schedule”. My bad.

No worries! There are quite a few of the Rhythm UI nodes that have made their way to OOTB since Revit 22. So they have been removed from Rhythm.

Hello,

actually this is quite of a drop in functionality.

The “Schedule Views” node was very useful to allow for Dynamo Player user input drop down menus of the schedules available in the project.

If I use “Views” node as input I will get hundreds of views listed in the menu… basically useless.

So, now I have to go back to Data-Shape user interface, where I can list schedules only, (and even screen by schedule types, actually) but it does not work in Dynamo Player…

Any solution compatible with Dynamo Player?
(That is, to create custom drop down menus of variable elements, from lists of values and keys).

Than you

PS: Also, I am not sure why by installing Rhythm 2024.10.1 (per “Workspace References” request) still does not bring that node back… see below

Also, these seems to be contradictory messages?

The “Workspace References” panel is asking for a version of Rhythm that is already installed:

Workspace references reports weird stuff. Rhythm doesn’t really follow the versioning on the PM as it is deployed through github automatically.

So you just download the latest and you get all the correct nodes auto-loaded for Revit 2020-2026.

I can look at re-adding that node sometime soon though.

Got it, thank you John.

It’s ok I guess, Data-Shape works great and allows for even selecting the schedule types, further reducing the available options in the pull-down menu.

However, I always try to use Dynamo Player when possible, since it came a long way and it is quite robust these days.

Hopefully we will soon be able to have custom pull down menu nodes that can be set to “Input”.
