Revit & Dynamo crash after opening a .dyn

My company is in the process of updating to Revit 2019 and Dynamo 2.0. We have numerous graphs that were initially created in Dynamo 1.3 that I’m testing to verify are still working in Revit 2019 and Dynamo 2.0. However, whenever I try to open many of these graphs, both Revit and Dynamo will crash with no warning and no errors or popups.

I’ve tried opening the graphs in Revit 2018 with Dynamo 2.0 and they are able to open and run without issue. Is this a known problem with Revit 2019 and Dynamo 2.0? Is a custom package to blame? These are what we have in terms of custom packages:

Ampersand 2018.9.2
archi-lab.net 2018.13.13
Bakery 2018.4.301
bimorphNodes 2.2.90
Bumblebee 2019.2.0
Clockwork for Dynamo 2.x 2.1.0
Data-Shapes 2018.9.3
Dynablaster 0.90.91
DynamoAutomation 1.31.1
DynamoMEP 0.5.1
DynaWorks18 1.1.0
Hot Gear 2017.11.9
LunchBox for Dynamo 2018.7.6
MEPover 2018.9.2
MeshToolKit 2.0.1
Quasar 0.1.1
Rhythm 2018.9.7
SketchUpForDynamo 1.5.0
Slingshot! for Dynamo 2014.11.30
spring nodes 132.2.8
SteamNodes 1.2.4

Looks like it’s a package requiring an update. Perhaps with nested custom nodes involved.

Empty out your packages folder so any custom node would fail to load, and then try opening the offending graphs.

Only a handful of these packages were updated to 2.0 by now. Your best bet is to simply rebuild them for Dynamo 2.0. It’s kind of a sad, but there are many breaking changes from 1.3 to 2.0 and I doubt that you will be able to simply just open that graph. I know that mine are not working so I will have to rebuild them.

We had issues upgrading to Dynamo 2.0, and instead of trying to diagnose where my graphs are wrong, I am using this as a change to rebuild them. Sadly not much survived the 1.3–>2.0 update,

I have the same problem. I don’t think that the problems are in 2.0 dynamo version instead in Revit2019 because.
I’ opened dynamo script in revit 2018 with Dynamo 2.0 and it’s right. I rebuid the same script in revit 2019 and it was right. After some day, I opened the script and it crash another time. How it’s possible?
