Recovery file

Normally I can recover a file by “open in Manual Exec. Mode” checkbox. I open the file and it still crashes. Is there another way to retrieve this file?
I don’t have a backup for it at my computer, but the person who made it might. Made in Dynamo Studio 1.2.1 but it might have been saved in 1.3. I guess its been awhile since I’ve mixed versions. I feel bad for asking this, but is 1.3 not backwards compatible…? LOL.

I noticed when you drag and drop the .dyn file into a blank tab in chrome, it has all the data necessary. Is there an online file fixer that i’m not aware of?

Try starting a new blank dynamo file, save it. Edit in text editor and copy all of the stuff between

I don’t know what I did, or how I did it. But it worked…the 2nd try. I knew in the back of my mind something like this was possible. I think I deleted one line of code but I can’t even remember what I did. Oh well. Still learned something.
