Re: Creation of alignments and associated design profiles using already produced 3D polylines via Dynamo

Hi All,

I’m currently reviewing options to automate the process of re-creating multiple Civil 3D alignments (approx. 30) and their associated design profile using the information provided by the previous design consultant. The information available are in 3D polyline format where x,y,z data is provided.

Given the above task will consist of repetitive workflows, I would like to know if there is a process of automating some or all of the process using Civil 3d Dynamo.

Ps. I also acknowledge that there is no node within Dynamo to create alignment and the associated profile using information from a 3D polyline.
