Ramp in dynamo

Hi All,

This is my first time here & a beginner, I’m thinking of modelling a ramp (Parametric) that can be adjusted (length, width & % of slope as required) is this something that can be done using Dynamo. This is to avoid brainstorming every time a Ramp is required. Can some one point me to help or some direction etc.
or is this a bad idea? for a small task.
I’m also trying to find links for Parametric modelling for beginners. is it available on the web? any links please.
I’m using Revit 2017.2 (Dynamo 1.2.1.3083)

I would reccomend using revit’s built in ramp tool for this, as it already has the functions you are asking for. Anything dynamo would do here is either a hack workaround as an in-place family with associated issues with subcategory and other items, or tell the built in Revit tool to work as it already does out of the box.
