Problem with colouring a solid

Hello,

I am new in this community. I’ve started working with Dynamo and I encountered a problem with colouring a solid.

I have a list of rooms in Excel. These rooms belong to departments. Based on the rooms’ dimensions, I created a rectangular and afterwards a solid. I would like to colour these solids based on the colour of the department. I am using GeometryColor.ByGeometryColor node to assign a colour to the geometry. However, I have some problems with displaying colours on solids. Some solids are not considered while assigning the colour. I have no idea why…

Maybe you had a similar problem and you could help me, please:)

@Julia_Ratajczak , hi

You have to hide every geometry so that the color can be shown…

Just to back up what Draxl said… To hide the prieview in previous nodes.
You can do this en masse by selecting all and right clicking on the canvas and selecting, “hide preview” .

Which one of the packing packages are you using?

With another shape than the cone, no worries.

I must have a conflict with a package,
it would be very surprising if we couldn’t assign a color to a cone (or designer joke we don’t touch cones)
