I am creating a script to search and fill revit parameters in linked files. I can’t write to the linked parameter. Any ideas? this is my script
Yes dont think its possible that way there, you could try background open and set the parameter on your linked element, or try birdtool multiplayer, for background open try , rhythm and genius loci have some nodes there could help with that…

Think of what you’d have to do in the UI as a starting point. Can you edit that parameter value of an element in a link? If not, what do you have to do in order to do so?
these package i mention, but no matter what you try BG or birdtool [as i guess i would try] then i guess you will need unload the document and reload the document in your active document as i guees you are after set instance parameter…GL and rhythm have nodes for that as well…i dont see thats so automated, instead of just open the link document (open-unload in the browser] and do the job directly in the linked file and just load back again
