Orchid package nodes fail with error "Your usage access has expired (IR.d02.1)..."

Hi All,

I’ve created an issue on the Orchid GitHub page as well, but just asking here to see if anyone has seen anything like this.

Edit: The question here is what is causing the error in the Orchid nodes. The nodes shown here are just examples that show the error. All the Orchid nodes I’ve tried to use (not just the ones in this graph) have failed.

Revit, Dynamo and Orchid version

Revit: 22.1.70.9
Dynamo: Dynamo Revit 2.12.1.11123
Orchid: 2.12.8.6373

The issue

All of the Orchid nodes that I’ve tried to use so far fail with the following error message: “Warning: [node name] operation failed. Your usage access has expired (IR.d02.1), for further information contact the author of the package!”

These errors only appeared after installing the lastest versions from GitHub using the provided installer. Unfortunately I had already removed the previous Orchid files so I’m currently unable to revert back to the version that worked / tell you what version it was.

Please see the images below and let me know if there is additional information I can provide to help determine what’s happening.

Hello @LKemp.CDN dont know, but an alternative, could probably be this one here from MePover

and a way with OOTB

Hi @sovitek, thanks for the reply, however I was just using these nodes to highlight the error with Orchid nodes. It’s not a real graph, but I’lll keep these in mind moving forward.

You are welcome

This is something which you’ll have to work though with the Orchid Package author directly, as it is not standard to Dynamo or any other tool in the ecosystem. Could be a dependency conflict, or something he’s implementing in an attempt to manage his IP.
