Hi everyone,
it’s a lot of time that I’m trying to generate an optimized diagrid roof using revit (and then dynamo).
When I saw the post of LongNguyen I was very exited an so I started to investigate Dynashape,
but Dynashape’s examples start with a rectangular grid. So how can I adapt the package to a generic plan?
Then I saw the nice example of john_pierson in a case of an L plan. But the solution don’t work for all the forms.
I try to divide a planar surface, to have the points, in many ways (uv division, mesh generation, wiregrid package, ecc…) but none of them feel right. And none of theme gave me the output in rows, quads and borders…
Does anyone have any feedback/advice on how to approach this? Help me…
