Hi All,
I have situation where there are a lot of section views in the model and its driving me nuts trying to locate mine on the plan and move them while modeling my pipes. How can I select my section view from a drop down list and have it move automatically to where I click on the floor plan? I don’t want my section view to change elevations or the visual style, I just want it to move where I click on the drawing.
Sorry I’m completely new to Dynamo and I’ve tried searching for plugins.

Maybe that could be done with Dynamo but I would keep it simple and just create a working view that shows only your sections.

I just use View Filters in those situation
OR
Hide at scales coarser than.
In combination my own work views or
use Temporary View Template.

In my BIM coordination process, I typically work within a sheet view with the ceiling plan overlaid to visualize both the lighting and ceiling grid. When using a working view, the ceiling grid isn’t visible, and creating a dedicated ceiling view often causes issues with the display of duct drops and rises, making them appear inverted. I’m looking for a more efficient solution, potentially through Dynamo, to streamline this process and save time.
