Material render appearance

Hi.
I m a super newbie here.
Trying to change wood “birch” material from current “stain” color white (RGB 255,255,255) to a darker value.
I searched but could not find a node for that.

Currently use node “Material.ByName” and get CodeBlock “Birch” connected, so far…

Hi @yes_and_no,
There are a lot of custom nodes for materials in the Genius Loci package.

I searched and be able to find GL.

However upon installing, some errors message came out, about latest version python container, which I have no clues what should be the latest and their names.

I looked into “installed package”, it says Basic_Python_Template is v.1.0.1.
My Revit is v.2017.
My Dynamo v.O.9.1.4062

Some pointers wd be much appreciated.
