Link/amend autocad layers in revit

I am wondering if there is a way to use dynamo to link autocad xrefs into plan views in revit? Further to this (or as a seperate issue) can you modify the autocad layers (such as the lineweight and colour in revit) using Dynamo? Currently we draw reinforcement as an autocad xref (dont ask why - long story) and link it into revit, but then have to spend quite a bit of time changing the linked CAD’s lineweights and colours within revit to make it look presentable - but it would be great if we could get Dynamo to do this for us.

Hi @gazza23,

You will find in the BimorphNodes and Genius Loci packages the appropriates nodes.

Thanks. I’m still kind of new to Dynamo, so i’m not sure exactly how i specify which DWG i need to link in to which plan view.

I advise you to read the Primer to understand how Dynamo works.
