Issues Upgrading Dynamo for Revit_DynamoRevit.MSI is missing

I am having trouble upgrading from 1.3.0.875 to 1.3.1

This Image is what I get when I try to straight uninstall…

When I just try to run the upgrade… It upgrades my Dynamo core but not Dynamo Revit

Anyone Else Had this issue before, or know how I could possibly fix it?

Hi @emmett.cruey

Have you tried first uninstalling 1.3.0 and then reinstalling 1.3.1?

Yes that is exactly what I am trying to do. It say it cannot fint DynamoRevit.MSI therefore cannot uninstall

Are you using AutoDesk’s uninstall tool or add/remove programs?

I did not at first by I am trying to now… and it gets the same problem. Seems to be looking for DynamoRevit.msi so I will need to find it and direct it to it.

But it seems nowhere to be found when doing a search for it

Try Installing first Dynamo 1.3.0 and uninstall see if that helps.

To Make Matters worse, I decided to reinstall Revit 2017 and now I do not have Dynamo at all.

I cannot uninstall Dynamo unless I can locate DynamoRevit.msi but I have searched for it on 2 different machines and it is nowhere to be found.

I did also try to install 1.3.0 again

Hi,

Had this problem too.
Deleting the Dynamo Core folder using the administrator account solved it.
Then reinstall.

Marcel…

I tried to do this… and it still is not working.

Any more advice on how to resolve this issue?

So… I solved this issue…

This Stubborn 1.3.0 was stuck on my machine but what ended up working for me was what Marcel said above…

I have to activate the built-in Admin account log-in through it. Then uninstall the program from that profile.

I also uninstalled and re-installed Revit 2016-2018… Pain in the you know what… but glad to have Dynamo back up and running.
