Installing Dynamo Issue

Hi,

Can anyone I have just recently got a new laptop and installed all my applications. I have just downloaded the latest version of dynamo 1.2 and tried to run it through Revit 2017 and I cant get the link to work. It appears to create everything within Dynamo but nothing appears in Revit. It appears that the link doesn’t work. When I check my programs it only says Dynamo 0.7 is installed but when I opened Revit it asked me which version of Dynamo do I wish to used 0.7 or 1.2. I selected 1.2.

Can anyone suggest why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Have you looked for the Dynamo button in the Manage tab?

In Revit 2017, You don’t need to install Dynamo. As Andreas said, you can find the Dynamo button under Manage instead of Addin.

Yes it had installed Dynamo but only 0.7 version so what I did is installed the new 1.2 version so I was up to date. I have managed to get it working now. I uninstalled 1.2 and reinstalled it. A quick reboot of my machine solved the issue.
