Insert family generic model perpendicular a curved surface

Good afternoon,
I am a beginner in Dynamo programming and I think I have done something wrong. What I’m trying to do is place a certain number of families along a specific edge of a curved surface. What I do is select one edge of the surface and then the other, then I indicate the number of families I want to distribute along the edge. Theoretically, it should place the family perpendicular to the point where it inserts it, but I don’t understand where I’m going wrong. The families are placed with a slight angle.

Hello @jvgg and welcome  is it something here you are after ?

Yes ¿Puedo ver el código?

I have seen the nodes but does it work for warped surfaces?

yes the same method…but is your family facebased or ?

my family is a generic model, it is very simple but I need that profile to make the form.

not sure i understand, you will panelize a curved surface with this profile ?

I want to place on an edge of a warped surface a number of profile families, as you can see in the image below.

still not sure is it in a family or project…here in a project with a 2d profile family…probably best if you share your dataset so i can understand

I think the latter is what I’m looking for, but I don’t see the Python code, so I’m not sure if it’s what I’m looking for.
I have uploaded the family and Dynamo in a wetransfer, as I am new to the forum it won’t let me upload files.Dowload family and Dynamo

Me neither   …for curves from familytypes [profiles] you can try here, thanks @Kulkul for that old one ;)
