Importing Geometry from .dwg File

Hi all,

I’m hitting a rock on a very simple thing though. I’m trying to access geometry from a .dwg file, things as simple as points. It seems like a fairly simple task but for some reason Dynamo does not seem to be able to import .dwg file formats…

Has anyone found any work around ? FYI, tried using Rhino or existing packages.

You can import in Revit> select file> and query geometry.

what type of object are you trying to import using points ?

is it something like a toposurface, or a linear object ?
