How to select an element within a connection / profile

Salutations everyone! I am currently stuck with this problem I’ve had all day.

So when I select this Structural Connection

unselect and press TAB to select a part of the model

I can see it’s parameters for that part of the model

What I’m trying to accomplish is to select this in Dynamo and read its parameters. Only problem is that I am unable to find a way to even reference it. I’ve tried Select Element, GrabCurrentSelection, etc. It’s like it doesn’t exist as an element. It says I’m apparently modifying a Profile, So how may I reference the profile in Dynamo (from the Structural Connection) and read/write parameters from it?

Did you check whether your nested family is shared ?
it works with group by key

Super sorry for the late response, My team had me tasked somewhere else for a bit. So I’ve tried your answer and unfortunately I’m not getting any of the elements within.
