Hello, any idea how to generate a point given Station and offset to an alignment, and get its XYZ?

Hello lovely people,

Anyone have any experience given an alignment in Civil 3D, if i specify a station, and offset value, how can i create a point. Then return the XYZ of said point?

I tried the below, I am guessing coordinate system by station offset doesn’t work? I see there are X,Y,Z values.

Hola amigo @mhyuen buenas. Welcome to the comunity, seems you are doing correctly, but the point by coordinates will give you a point into Dynamo, will not create any instance into your .dwg file, becarefull, points and cogo Points are not the same object type in autocad, you must have the package Civil3DToolkit in your dynamo to create both, points and Cogo Points, search similar topics in the forum!

Maybe I’m not understanding the question, to what I read this is what you need, the offset is defined by you in the node parameters, I put it outside so that it does not overlap the alignment and is understandable, I hope it helps! [Cogo Points from offset]
