Get total length of sweep profiles in Pipe fittings (Elbows)

Hey folks!
I’m creating a dynamo script that gets equivalent length of pipe fittings, (to comply with POMI/ NRM2) methods of measurement.

Is there a way to get the total length of sweep profiles of all fittings (type: elbow) from the project file?

Hint: depending on the elbow type (welded / Upvc / threaded), number of sweeps is either one or three.

I’ve seen Jeremy’s post on LinkedIn today, by running the python script, it seems to work well ( a little below the exact length measured along sweep profiles, which can be handled with a safety margin ) .

I’m gonna update the topic with new thoughts.
