I am using one script which creates the geometry around columns and framing and then bakes them to Revit but some generic models are showing cross lines.
SAT import methods will do that occasionally. Best to use other methods (make extrusions natively, place families instead, etc.) if it is a problem. Hard to see the fix without seeing how it was created though.

Yes, direct shapes will do that if they shape is above a given complexity. Look into another method of creating the form, either creating family instances (the route I would go here as these appear to be columns) or using the equivalent Revit component of base geometry elements to create a native Revit family instance.
