Geometry colour only in watch

Good afternoon you handsome lot,

I’m using Dynamo core: 2.0.2.6826

I’ve been trying to learn how to use colour.

I can only get colour to show through the lens of a watch 3D node.

Is it possible to get the colouring to show in the usual background preview? I’m assuming there’s a setting somewhere, but i cant seem to find it.
