Filter All elements in active view down to a select number of families

Im trying to figure out how to filter down my all elements in active view down to a select number of families rather than all families in my view.
What i need to happen is select all elements apply the get parametre values by name then only output my selected families rather than all families.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Hi @mattd1234,

Maybe there are smarter ways, but i think this will do the job.

Hi MJB

i have run the script and it works perfect to filter the elements down, what im now getting is an error on my Element.Location node with a warning saying “list indices must be numeric”

any ideas?
