Delete all instances in active view

I have a list of family types already, and I want to delete all instances of those family types in the active view and only the active view.

@dpohlman Please post a sample file, images, things that you have tried etc.

The only thing I have tried is All Instances of Family Type connected to Elements.Delete

This deletes all instances in the project.

I know you can select all elements in view but I cannot figure out how to filter that list by the list of family types that i currently have.

I am not at the computer that has the script at the moment
