Hi everybody, I am trying to link a 3D object from revit to an assembly, more specifically, I am trying to get a pipe section to follow a nurbs curve in dynamo…I have 4 corner points, each with an (x,y,z) co-ordinate. These point are then linked by the NurbsCurve. I would like to get a pipe to follow one of these lines… any assistance will be highly appreciated.
Thank you. My Dynamo Script…/and Excel points…/ Civil Report.xls (138 KB)
As you can see, its a corridor I made in Civil3D, exported the point data to excel and am now working in Revit and Dynamo with the goal of placing a pipe that runs along the top left point/line throughout the corridor.
Hi @BrendanCivil
You can access direct to the c3d corridor from Revit to get the coordinat of the pipe. You can use BriMohareb_xxxx pak. Or civilconnection pak.
The next step is create adaptive family hold the cross section of the pipe. Or transform the solid from c3d to ro revit by using Remember node
